This weekend 12 students from Bellingham High Schools are heading down to Seattle for the State 2A Tennis Tournament. Many of these student athletes have been practicing year round for this opportunity to win for the team and themselves. For the past 5 months we have been working with the State bound and USTA tournament players every Wednesday night. The students that are going are: Will Topp (Sehome)  Evan Madill (Sehome) , Leah Strickling (Squalicum), and Maddie Pearce (Bellingham) in the singles draws: Matt Goebel & Myles West (Sehome), William Giller & Bjorn Thorpe (Sehome), Andrew Troutman & Kyle Buckham (Bellingham), Bella Hoyos & Megan Mullarkey (Bellingham), Becca Wilson & Amy Wilson (Squalicum) in the doubles draws. Good luck to these stars of the future!

Thanks to the Gardens at Padden Creek!

Check out our beautiful new pots at our entry way!  I couldn't have done them without help from Wally at the Gardens at Padden Creek.  I told him what we were looking for: two BIG pots, some evergreen, some color, some interest....and voila!  Wally put it all together for me and even made it "plant by number" by arranging the plants in the box exactly how they should go in the pot.  So, if you need some gardening help, tell Wally that Robin sent you!

For you gardeners, here is what is in our pots:
Taxus x media 'Hicksii' Hick's Yew
Heuchera 'Raspberry Ice'
Geranium Fantasia Violet
Fuschia (varigated leaf, purple bloom)
Ipomoea Margarita
Calibrachoa Million Bells Crackling Fire
Spirea Magic Carpet
